Don't be a Richard !

Updated: Mar 23, 2020

Welcome to the first ever Blog by QuiverGrip.

Disclaimer: First things first, please excuse typos, misspellings and general lack of proficiency in writing.

Normally we would say thank you, talk about progression, Specials and sales, Surfboard storage and general surf stuff Blah-Blah-Blah.

However, we are in the middle of one of the craziest things I have ever experienced, the COVID-19 (Corona Virus). Being from Florida I have experienced plenty of hurricanes, so prepping and hunkering down is second nature to me. The list of supplies is slightly different, but the mad dash, mass hysteria feeling of the days is the same.

The main things I have learned about hunkering down is, Take care of your neighbors. If they need something and you have extra, give it to them… If they need a hand with something, lend it, shop local and most importantly, Don’t be a Dick. You must live with yourself when this over.

I hope where you are the beaches aren’t closed and you can still surf. If you do surf, maintain your 6 feet. It is all of jobs to do our part and help where we can. The easiest way to do that is to follow the rules that are put in place. People much smarter than us have decided this is what needs to be done to stop this thing from spreading. It sucks, no one likes being told what to do, I get it. JUST DO IT. Now is a good time stop and smell the roses. Time to get the much-needed break we all deserve. Get rid of the old wooden dowel surf racks your grandfather built you and step into the 21 century. Win some brownie points with the wife by putting some check marks on that honey-do list. Whatever it is, Make the best of it. Good energy is contagious (in a good way) and is even better for your immune system.

If the party never ceases it ceases to be a party”

So…

Good times are upon us… Lets get through this together, with dignity and love. We have Beach parties and glassy barrels right around the corner.

So… Rest up Bitches. Rager on deck.
